Born with a passion for football and human performance, Álvaro has dedicated his career to advancing the science of football coaching through evidence-based methodologies and innovative training approaches. His journey began in Colombia, where he developed his foundational understanding of the sport before expanding his expertise internationally.
With a strong academic background in Sports Science and specialized international training, Álvaro combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. His multilingual abilities (Spanish and English) have enabled him to work across different cultures and football philosophies, enriching his coaching methodology.
Throughout his career, Álvaro has been committed to continuous learning and professional development. He has worked with various clubs and organizations, always focusing on player development, tactical innovation, and the application of sports science principles to enhance team performance.
His research interests include tactical periodization, player development pathways, and the integration of technology in football training.
